| I'm writing this letter to thank you for the outstanding service you provided in selling my house. I hope this letter serves to convince anyone considering hiring a realtor that there is no better choice than you. This will just be a quick rehash of the sale of our house from start to finish to give prospective sellers an idea of the superior job you did for us. In January, '98, we interviewed 4 realtors hoping to hire someone that would work hard, had a well-developed marketing plan, and had solid office support to provide full-time effort toward selling my house quickly and ensuring it was priced right. We were sold on you by your pleasant personality, honesty, strong marketing strategy, and that win-me over smile. Those same personal characteristics would, no doubt, jump out at any potential buyers, making a quick sale a sure thing. Well, obviously that thought process became reality--our house sold in less than 90 days from the day we put it on the market until close--during January through March, the most difficult selling period of the year. You made sure we got EVERYTHING we required from the sale: the right prices, the right buyer's load so we could get our VA benefits back, buyer's agreement to rent the house back to us until we had to leave San Antonio, and money in our pocket after all was said and done. You, Steve, and Mildred patiently carried us throughout the process, constantly reassuring us that all was well and letting us know exactly what to expect next. There were several bumps (repair negotiations being the biggest, completing repairs, appraisal, etc.), but you and your crew were right there protecting our interests and gently walking us through every step. I can't begin to express the comforting confidence your genuine smile and sincere ways relayed. All I can say is thank you so much. You and your family were a pleasure to work with. I'd almost consider coming back to San Antonio to have you all help us find our dream home. Our Lord brought you to us in perfect answer to a prayer. | Our San Antonio home was on the market for one year before we changed agents and hired Susan Bean. Due to the age, unique layout, and location in an inferior school district, our home was not an easy one to sell. Susan did extensive advertising and held many open houses, looking for the right buyer. Within six months of Susan taking over the listing, the house sale closed.
